Website Development: Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions are applicable for all our website packages, unless explicitly mentioned otherwise.

The following items are expressly excluded from all our website packages unless explicitly mentioned otherwise
1. Image processing: The cutting, cropping, enhancing, merging, resizing and all other operations related to the manipulation of graphical images are not included in any website package or bespoke quote, other than basic resizing and cropping operations for any free images included with the website package or bespoke quote. For example, if there are 5 images included with your quote and you have opted to purchase 5 more images, we will crop and resize a total of ten images for use on your website. Any images included with your purchase or licensed separately belong to the stock photography site from where it was downloaded, like photos.com. The images may only be used for your website and nowhere else, including but not limited to brochures, business cards or any other documents.
2. Content Insertion: Insertion of content into your website (new or otherwise) is not included in any website package or bespoke quote unless explicitly mentioned otherwise. If mentioned, insertion of content is limited to the number of items as described in the package description.
3. Payment Gateways: When used in the context of an e-commerce website, payment gateways are not included by default. There are different prices for the installation, programming and configuration of different payment gateways and time for these need to be purchased separately.
4. Website Content Creation: Content writing is not included in of our website packages. We assume the content will be provided to us by our clients. Content types include but are not limited to audio, video and textual content among other possible types. We can write textual content for you if you wish, the time for which will need to be purchased separately.
5. Cost of paid/commercial components: While we try and utilise free/open source components wherever possible, some features are not possible without the use of paid/commercial components. In such circumstances, we will advise you of the costs involved and request you to purchase the same. The cost of paid/commercial components is not included in the price of the website package.
6. Affiliate HTML: If you wish to insert affiliate HTML code into your website, there will be separate charges applicable. If you wish us to insert affiliate HTML code into your website, please note that we will only charge for the insertion of the code only and not the formatting of the HTML as per your website's design. If you wish us to format the affiliate HTML code as per the design of your website, there will be a separate charge for the same.
Administrator Access: We will provide you with all details for the backend administration control panel (if applicable) only after the website is complete and approved by you. This is because the website can be severely damaged through incorrect usage of the control panel. We will also not provide access to the same to a third party (like a Search Engine Optimisation company), even if they claim/are informed in the use of web technologies. If for some reason we do provide administration control panel access to you or a third party authorised by you, and there are changes/corrections/fixes/modifications we have to do as a result of intentional or unintentional incorrect usage of the administration control panel, there will be additional charges applicable as per the effort spent on the fixes/changes/corrections/modifications.
Billing: The charges for any activity are in multiples of 1 hour. For this reason, we suggest requesting support in batches where possible, so we can make the most effective and efficient use of your purchased hours. All hours must be purchased in advance, prior to commencement of work.
Multilingual Add-on
1. We do not provide content translation services
2. We will ask you to provide translated content for your desired languages
3. We will only add 10 translated content items for you.
Forums / Bulletin Boards
1. We will ask you to provide the names of the forums and their boards
2. Design modifications, future upgrades, troubleshooting are not included
3. Training is not included
Pre-Purchased Effort Hours
1. We recommend purchasing effort hours in batches of 4 hours.
2. Please ensure time is utilised as we do not refund unused hours.
Photo/Video Galleries
1. Modifications of any sort are not included.
2. Training is not included
3. Number of photos/videos and categories are only limited by your web host
4. Please ensure all photos/videos and their descriptions are available
5. We recommend storing your videos on video hosting sites such as YouTube
6. Photo Galleries cannot display videos and Video Galleries cannot display pictures
7. Videos should be web ready - 15 frames per second, 240x180 resolution
8. Pictures should be web ready - 800 x 600 resolution
9. Making your pictures or videos web ready is not included

CSV Facility
1. The indicated price is not for product data entry or for populating the CSV file - only to configure the facility for your website.
2. We will design a CSV file for you based on your requirements
Additional Features
1. Some of the add-ons listed are commercial components, which require purchase of a license.This license cost is included in the purchase price listed
2. Only installation is included with *all* displayed additional feature options
3. Purchase does not include any modification, training, item entry or configuration
E-Commerce Websites (Add on to Website development)
1. Entry of products is not included
2. CSV Configuration is not included
3. Additional feature/functionality modifications and feature add-ons are not included
Logo Design
1. Unlimited revisions are available only on the selected design concept
2. Revisions must build on the selected concept's design theme
3. Your interface will be a single designer who will interact with other designers on the team
Website Development
1. Please see terms and conditions for exclusions.
2. Please note, the above limitations only apply to what we will provide. You will be able to add any number of pages.
3. Some extensions at Joomla Extensions require purchase of a license by you.
4. Commercial extensions are not included by default in any of our packages
5. Search Engine Friendly URLs must be supported by your web host
6. You will be asked to provide all text for content insertion
7. We test on Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3 for browser compatibility
8. Inbuilt Website Search depends on chosen design template
9. This website requires at least 50MB space and at least one available mySQL database.
Website Package Term Definitions:
1. Basic insertion of content: This means we will copy your existing content and insert it into your new website as is. There will be no formatting or styling done of this content. This activity is limited to the number of content articles mentioned in the quote or package line item. If the line item does not mention a specific number, the number of content articles to be copied and pasted is limited to a total of ten (10).
2. Design changes not included: This means that there will no modification of the design in any manner, apart from inserting your preferred logo into your website. We will resize and crop your logo file to fit the website. Apart from this, no other design changes will be carried out, including but not limited to color, button shapes, button sizes, page width and font size among others.
3. Installation only or Installation: When used on it's own or suffixed to a feature, for example 'Photo Gallery Installation', it means that we will only install that particular component or software into your website. We will not perform any other activities including but not limited to configuration, training, content population or customisation among other possible actions.
4. Training not included: This means that apart from communicating the basic details of your website, which are it's Internet URL, Internet Administration URL (if applicable), username (if applicable) and password (if applicable), we will not be imparting any further training. Training may be included in your website package or quote. If not, we will be happy to quote for website administration and usage training.
